Video mapping Lyon - InterContinental Grand Hôtel Dieu
Video mapping in Lyon on a huge dome – that’s the challenge we took up. We produced an animated video for the inauguration of the Intercontinental Hotel at Lyon’s Grand Hôtel Dieu.
Blending 2D and 3D animation in an impressive perspective, this video mapping had many guests raising their heads in the center of the hall.
Production, managed by the TETRO agency, and broadcast by the Alabama team, we created the images for this extraordinary mapping show.
The video mapping of this Lyon hotel was an opportunity to tell a story. Starting with basic elements, the universe gradually builds up to the dome of today. All in custom-made musical poetry.
When video mapping, it’s important to emphasize the architectural lines. For this reason, the arches and columns were illuminated to enhance the visual effect.
A second show was created on the façade of the hotel.
2 months of work in collaboration with technicians, artists and musicians for a spectacular result.
