VERCORS: THE PATHS OF FREEDOM
This year, Bluevista was lucky enough to be able to make 6 films for the Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors.
The Vercors Regional Nature Park was created in 1970 and straddles the Drôme and Isère départements. It covers 206,208 hectares, making it the second largest regional nature park in France.
These videos enable the PNRV to promote the various Vercors Resistance memorial sites in the Chemins de la Liberté network.
The Freedom Trail Network includes over 200 kilometers of hiking trails and historic sites.
These retrace the French resistance in the Vercors during the Second World War.
This network was created in 1994 by the Vercors Regional Nature Park, in collaboration with associations dedicated to the memory of the Resistance.
The Chemins de la Liberté network is an important tool for transmitting the memory of the Resistance. It allows visitors to discover this part of French history and the commitment of French Resistance fighters.
Each film focuses on a different theme: An Open-Sky Museum, A Commemoration Seen from the Inside, Memory Cultivated through Artistic Creation, The Making-of of a Short Film, A Memory Walk and The Reconstruction of the Cabane des Carteaux.
We spent several days filming in different locations with our ground cameras and aerial drone shots.
Our post-production teams took care of de-rusting, editing and color-grading the 6 films, conveying the emotion of the locations.
