Video mapping Lyon – InterContinental Grand Hôtel Dieu

Video mapping in Lyon on a huge dome, that’s the challenge we took up. We thus produced a video animation projected for the inauguration of the Intercontinental hotel of the Grand Hôtel Dieu in Lyon.

Combining 2D and 3D animation in an impressive perspective, this video mapping made many guests look up in the center of the hall.
The production, managed by the TETRO agency, and the distribution by the Alabama team, we produced the images for this extraordinary show mapping.

This video mapping of this hotel in Lyon was an opportunity to tell a story. Starting from basic elements, the universe is built little by little and then gives birth to today’s dome. All in musical poetry created to measure.
During a video mapping, it is important to emphasize the architectural lines. This is why a highlighting of the arches and columns has been added to enhance the visual effect.

A variation was made on the facade of the hotel to create a second spectacle.
